I am feeling okay since my first heartworm treatment Monday. I am getting lots of extra privileges this week. My Foster Dad worked from home most of the week so he could keep a close eye on me. Don't tell my Foster Mom, but he gave me lots of biscuits and a few graham crackers--yummy! I love graham crackers. If I continue to improve, I will go back to the Doc for a quick check up the week of March 9th. Then on March 30th, I will go back for my next Heartworm treatment. - I am a rescue dog with special medical needs that was fortunate enough to be saved by The Animal Rescue and Foster Program. Like all ARFP dogs, I live in a home with my foster parents and their personal dogs as well as a couple of other foster dogs. My Foster Mommy does a lot of the rescue work for ARFP so she sees a lot of sad things, but she helps as many dogs like me as she and ARFP can. I am planning on telling my story as well as the story of other dogs that are looking for their forever homes.
